Andrew Lee, MD
Andrew Y. Lee, MD, is a board-certified general otolaryngologist currently practicing as an associate physician at Metro ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery, a division of The Centers for Advanced ENT Care (CAdENT). He previously worked as an attending physician for MedStar Medical Group based primarily in Southern Maryland.
Dr. Lee received his medical degree with a distinction in clinical investigation from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed residency training in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
During his residency, Dr. Lee received the Leo M. Davidoff Society Outstanding Achievement in the Teaching of Medical Students. He takes a similar approach in patient care with a strong belief in patient education as a driver to improve patient health, satisfaction, and outcomes. He believes that treatments should be tailored to the specific needs of each patient and that physicians must take care to communicate clearly and effectively so that each patient fully understands their diagnosis and treatment options.
Dr. Lee evaluates and treats a wide variety of conditions affecting the ears, nose, and throat. He has a specific interest in surgical options for management of obstructive sleep apnea, sinus disease and sinonasal surgery, thyroid surgery, and management of salivary gland conditions and tumors.
In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys watching and playing sports, traveling, finding and trying amazing restaurants, and spending time with his wife and two young children.
